Your Role

As our Project Purchaser Construction, You’re the heartbeat of our purchasing process — the one who keeps everything (and everyone) in sync. From early tender stages to the final bolt on site, you make sure we’ve got the right materials, the right partners, and the right agreements in place.
 
You don’t just buy; you think ahead. You analyze project needs, standardize processes, and shape B-Built’s company-wide procurement strategy. You combine commercial sharpness with technical understanding. You enjoy negotiating, optimizing, and keeping things moving.

What you’ll do

• Develop and roll out a smart, streamlined procurement strategy across all projects.
• Purchase of materials, advisors, subcontractor packages, and site equipment.
• Manage and support RFQs, price comparisons, and tender processes according to B-Built policies.
• Negotiate competitive contracts, terms, and conditions.
• Keep procurement aligned with project timelines, budgets, and engineering needs.
• Build long-term relationships with trusted suppliers and subcontractors.
• Monitor performance, quality, and delivery reliability to make sure promises turn into performance.

What You Bring

• 5–10 years of experience in construction procurement and purchasing (design & build).
• Strong knowledge of contract management, tendering, and supplier negotiations.
• A pragmatic mindset: structured, detail-oriented, analytical and proactive.
• Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English.
• Confidence in building relationships with internal teams, suppliers, and subcontractors.
